NANP faction goes to court over election results

There is war in the ranks of the National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes as a faction is heading to the court.

War in the body of prostitutes

The fallout from the inconclusive election by the National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (NANP), which ended in fiasco with a free for all fight, has taken a new dimension as a faction of the union is heading for the court to seek the annulment of the election that brought in Jessica Elvis, the former secretary of the association, as president after she polled 300 votes to defeat the sitting president, Madam Felix Efoyo, who got 153 votes.

The result of the election had caused a break down of law and order as supporters on both sides went into a battle with one of the sex workers stabbed in the process.

Now the faction led by Efoyo has vowed to seek redress in court and hopes to get the election of Elvis overturned.

In a terse message, Efoyo said:

"Who is Jessica Elvis?  That small 'ashewo-kobo-kobo? When did she start this job that she would be dragging the presidency with me? I was into the business before even before she was born.

I am a law abiding citizen, so I am going to court to nullify that sham they called election and when the court decides, you all will know who the true president of NANP is."
