The idea which started as a way for father and son to bond has turned into a huge revenue generating business. The channel now has raked in approximately 1.2 billion views, and now has 1.4 million subscribers.
In 2011, Evans and his father Jared- their surnames are withheld because of privacy- set a YouTube channel called EVanTubeHD.

Jared says he had no idea that his son reviewing all types of toys would bring in money. He said he was surprised when money started showing up on their Ad sense account.
The father says that the money from the YouTube views will be used for his kid's college funds. Right now the college fund is at $1.3m. The pot of gold is more than enough to take care of Evans and his 6 year old sister Jilian.
