The Nollywood movie starring Peter, Paul and Jude Okoye
Nollywood should cash in on the Psquare drama before it goes cold.
Public holidays that are on Thursdays and Fridays are the best but Monday is not that bad also. You get to have an extra day and the week is four days long.
Pulse covered the Independence Day very well and you can search the site for all the stories. They are really good stories.
Now, let's get into the news. I have said so much about Psquare that I am tired. What more should be said? Peter, Paul and Jude Okoye remind me of three brothers fighting for inheritance in a Nollywood movie. Add Amaechi Muonagor, Kanayo O. Kanayo and Chinwetalu Agu, and you have a Nollywood classic.
I don't know what my brothers from Biafra oops Eastern Nigeria are doing. The boys at Iweka Road in Onitsha, Pound Road in Aba and Ebinpejo Lane in Idumota should release a movie called The Okoye Brothers.
Trust me when I say the movie is going to sell 'pieces'. The film should be about three brothers fighting for money. Okoye Brothers should have at least four parts. Then Lilian Bach should play the role of Lola Omotayo. Hanks Anuku will play Jude Okoye and Chidi Mokeme will act as Peter and Paul. Add 'To God Be The Glory' at the end and I bet you the movie will sell a million copies.
Psquare has borrowed a lot from songs to create their own hits. I see no reason why movie makers shouldn't borrow from the lives to make a hit movie. Since Psquare has decided to entertain us let Nollywood take the entertainment further.
With regards to entertainment, Eedris Abdulkareem has been in the news lately. The rapper has taken shots at everyone from Davido, Mr Eazi, D'banj and Timaya. The veteran rapper is like a drunk Nigerian policeman, shooting at people anyhow.
Trust Timaya to give him a piece of his own medicine. Honestly, there is no way to make this look better. Eedris Abdulkareem is coming off as a bitter man. There are better things to do with his time like officially retiring or improving his rhyme skills. Shooting down guys from the younger generations paints him as a bitter and envious.
This last bit goes out to all my guys who have always wanted to slide into Damilola Adegbite's DM. Well, the fine specimen of Yoruba beauty is single again (this is a nice way of saying her and Chris Attoh are no more.
Make hay when the sun shines or better spread kilishi while the sun is up. Shoot your shot. What's the worst? She would curve and block you but hey at least you made a move.
