When an arm-wrestling match ends the wrong way

In the video clip below, Sailor and Ross get prepped by the “refs,” and get straight into it, for all of about 5 seconds, before something not cool happens.

Ex-rugby players, Wendell Sailor and Ben Ross, made an appearance on The Footy Show – a talk show in Australia – and engaged in an arm-wrestling match that really didn’t end well.

In the video clip above, Sailor and Ross get prepped by the “refs,” and get straight into it, for all of about 5 seconds.

Maybe Mr. Sailor is a lot stronger than he realized? Ross’ arm snaps, and right away, everyone knows something terrible has happened.

The crowd hushes, and the camera angles immediately switch while the injured arm wrestler is tended to. By way of The Footy Show‘s Twitter, we have a vague idea of what transpired next.

Ouch. We wish him a speedy recovery, and word is that he also wants a left-handed rematch. BAD IDEA, Ben.
