Last year June, Heaton who is a farmer traveled 6,000 miles to Bir Tawil which is tucked in between Sudan and Egypt. Claiming the land, he planted his flag on the small country. This was on the same day his little princess turned 7.
He however had to gain the permission of Egyptian authorities to do so.
"I asked my children what we should do with the land, and they said they wanted to grow a garden big enough to feed everyone in the world. That’s when he had the brilliant idea to start fund raising to build The Ark, a laboratory where scientists would conduct research to figure out how to produce crops with limited water supply" said the father of three.
To achieve this the new ruler is sourcing for $250,000 via Indiegogo.
