A man has reportedly fallen victim of robbery after meeting up with his date from the social medium, Tinder at about 3am on that fateful day in Fresno, California.
Man's date from Tinder robs him at gun point
Eventually, the victim revealed that when he showed up to the late-night date, he saw a woman who appeared to be someone else entirely who also had two guys with her.
ABC30 reports that the man was initially reluctant to tell them that he had driven to meet a Tinder date he'd never met before at 3 a.m.
According to the Fresno Police Department, one person stole $200 from the man and also took his cell phone, wallet, car keys, and everything he had in his car.
The man then walked barefoot, with the assumption that his shoes were also stolen, to a 7-Eleven about a mile away and called for help around 4 a.m.
Two young women have since been taken into custody to see if the victim could identify them, although they are still looking for at least two male suspects and the victim's stolen car.
