E-cigarette battery exploded in a man's trousers, leaving him with second-degree burns.

The video, recorded at a petrol station in Kentucky, shows the man approaching the counter at the Quality Quick Convenient store in Owensboro when sparks and flames suddenly erupt from his pocket. Sky News reported.

The man is seen frantically attempting to put out the fire with his hands as he runs outside.

A convenience store worker used a fire extinguisher to help put out the flames.

The man was treated at a hospital for second-degree burns on his legs, local media reported.

Since its introduction the E-cigarettes has been banned in Canada, Australia and some American countries.

Just like the hoverboard, the electronic cigarette is very dangerous, people are advised to be cautious when using it.
