White man and his friends taunts 3-year old black boy, calls him a 'slave'

Recently, a white Facebook user, who goes by the name Geris Hilton whose real name is Gerod Roth, posted a selfie with his coworker’s adorable Black son with a racist caption.

His friends were quick to chime in with more racist jokes, all made at the expense of the child. The comments were downright disgusting, including "I didn't know you were a slave owner" and "But Massuh, I dindu nuffin."

"He was feral," Roth wrote in what appears to be his only comment.

According to a statement released by the company, Gerod Roth who made the racist comment has been fired from Atlanta's Polaris Marketing Group on Friday.

The post went viral this week, just days after Hilton was fired and the hashtag #HisNameIsCayden began trending on Twitter.

The little boy at the center of the controversy is 3-year-old Cayden Jace. His mother, Sydney Jade, was unaware of the Facebook post until another coworker brought it to her attention.

But if the hatred and bullying posts reveal the Internet at its worst, the response also shows the online community at its best. Jade told the Atlanta Black Star about the unexpected level of support she's found.

Jade thanked supporters for their kind words and for speaking out about the exploitation of her son.

“This is Cayden Jace! The love of my life, the apple in my eye, my EVERYTHING,” Jade wrote. "We are above all this nonsense that has been going on." She ended her post with the hashtag #HisNameIsCayden.

A social media user said: "I have seen men fight over cigarettes, women, soccer and just about anything stupid you can think of. Not one but several adults ganging up to insult a 3 yr old is very profound and definitely one thing I HAVE NEVER SEEN and I have lived in just about every major region on earth. The underbelly of America is very very nasty. Very very shameful stuff. The guy Roth actually in keeping with their tradition of blatant hypocrisy actually posted a video claiming he was a victim...you couldn't make this stuff up. Mr Roth, show me your friends and I will tell you who you are and by the way you actually suggested in response that the kid is feral...pathetic !"

Here's yet another example of what not to say on Facebook, I have lost count of how many peoples have lost their jobs for saying stupid things on facebook.
