Frogs disappear in Benue state as Hotels serve 'Frog legs' delicacy

The frogs have not issued a statement as regards this sad event but one thing is sure they are gradually packing their bags and leaving the town of Benue for safer and greener pastures.

Frog leg delicacy now popular in Benue state.

Mark Twain is often credited with saying, "Eat a live frog the first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day." It seems Benue people took this quote literally as frog legs has become a huge delicacy served in hotels everywhere in Benue.

@hotelsng shared a picture of the delicacy on instagram and it looked so fantastic that it would make your mouth water.
