30-yr-old man in soup for raping 5-yr-old girl in Delta

A 30-year-old pervert who allegedly raped a 5-year-old girl in Delta State got what he did not expect after he was given the beating of his life.

A 30-year-old pervert has been arrested in Sedco area of Udu Local Government Area of Delta State for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl.

Niger Delta News reports that the suspect identified only as Nnamdi aka Nna, sneaked into the victim’s grandmother's room at the Okrogbolor Estate in the area on December 26, 2016, and defiled her.

Confirming the evil act, the victim’s grandmother, Mama Aghogho, stated that Nnamdi went into her two-room apartment on the pretence of warming his soup and raped the child.

Mama Aghogho who is popularly known as Urhobo Nurse in the area, claimed that Nnamdi carried her granddaughter in his lap and forcefully inserted his manhood into her private parts.

Mama Aghogho said she noticed that the girl was crying and bleeding profusely when she returned from where she had gone to and on inquiry, she discovered that Nnamdi had raped the girl.

The old woman said she raised an alarm which attracted neighbours and sympathizers including her family members who rounded up the suspect and beat him to stupor, dragged him to the Akpojotor Secretariat in the area before he was subsequently handed over to the police at Enerhen.
