After Donald Trump made the statement that he was going to shut down all mosques if he is voted in as president, a woman decided to protest by putting on an American Flag hijab.
Saba Ahmed, may not have been the loudest contributor during the segment on Fox News' The Kelly File Tuesday, but her American flag hijab spoke volumes.
"We go to the mosque to pray," Ahmed told Megyn Kelly while commenting on Donald Trump's announcement that he would "strongly consider" shutting down all American mosques.
"Mr. Trump has so many business dealings all over the Middle East, he's worked with Muslims, he knows we're good, hard-working people," Ahmed continued.
"You cannot alienate Muslim-American voters by targeting our mosques."
National Trump campaign spokesperson Katrina Pierson got in the last word during the debate, declaring "If it's one person [involved in terrorism] fine, but if it's the entire mosque, it needs to be shut down."
It's safe to say Ahmed and her hijab were the real winners here.
