Two lesbians who posted romantic photos of themselves on Facebook have caused serious outrage as Nigerians have come for their heads.

Two self-acclaimed lesbians who posted photos of themselves in different romantic positions in a shopping mall in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, have incurred the wrath of Nigerians.

The photos which were shared by one Prince Parpistud on Facebook showed the ladies who claimed they were proud lesbians and very much in love with one another, went viral with many people calling them despicable names.

Though some said they had their lives to live and should be left alone to enjoy their relationship, others believed they were a disgrace to the society and should be arrested by the authorities and prosecuted.

The caption of one of the photos read thus:

"She makes me speechless with everything she does; can't help it but fall deeper each day.

I dedicate this to my heartbeat... my source of happiness; I can't leave you for the world cause you are my world. Good morning LGBT."

But due to the backlash she got, she later deleted her account while those who were tagged in the post also changed their names on Facebook to avoid being linked to them.
