A notorious armed robbery suspected, Akeem Shonde, has been arrested by men of the police at the Alagbado area of Lagos.
Gun wielding robber apprehended by police
Akeem Shonde was caught with a Russian-made single-barrelled rifle and 11 rounds of ammunitions.

Akeem was nabbed while he was driving a Volkswagen Golf marked LSD 220 CP by policemen attached to the Ojokoro Police Division. Police have revealed that the suspect was caught with weapons. A Russian-made single-barrelled rifle and 11 rounds of ammunitions were found with the suspect.
Confirming the arrest, The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer DSP Kenneth Nwosu, said that the case has been transferred to the Department of Criminal Investigation, Yaba where investigations will be carried out.
