'Help: My pastor laid a curse on me'

How would you advice a woman whose pastor laid a curse on?

This worried woman needs your advice (Illustration)

A friend of mine invited me to the church in my desperate quest for a fruit of the womb, especially after my husband and his family made it clear that they were fed up with my childlessness. They blamed me for my inability to have a child and made life quite unbearable for me.

When I got to the church, was very concerned about my situation and gave me several assignments, fasting and deliverance but after five years, the situation was still the same. He kept telling me that my womb was tied up in a coven in my village and that he was undergoing a serious battle to break the bondage.

In the process, I spent a lot of money sowing seeds, paying double tithes, donating heavily for church projects and for his upkeep and that of his family. There was a time he said the Holy Spirit said I should sponsor his two children in school as well as making sure food was not lacking in his household. I did all these with the belief that the solution to my problem will be found in his church.

But after being held a financial slave there for many years with no result, I began to ask myself if I was in the right place. That was when my club member introduced me to a young and vibrant Prophet who not only assured me that I would become pregnant within the shortest possible time, but also revealed that Pastor Ben was using me.

I began attending the Prophet's church and to the glory of God, within six months, I took in. I was so happy and to show my appreciation to the young Prophet, I gave him a huge sum of money to buy a land with which to build his church, and my elated husband bought him a car in appreciation.

But little did I know that Pastor Ben was not happy with this when news got to him. He invited me to his office one day, saying he had a revelation for me and when I got there, he was in a foul mood, saying that I did not appreciate all he did in my case, the many battles he fought and all that.

He was particularly bitter that I gave the Prophet money to buy a land as well as my husband buying him a car.

In anger, he pronounced a curse on me that I will not live to hold the baby in my hands. I reported the matter to my husband who got the Pastor arrested but the police said since I did not record the threat, there was nothing they could do.

When I reported to the Prophet, he prayed over it and assured me that nothing will happen to me and my baby but I have been having nightmares everyday, where masquerades and dead people from my village would be pursuing me, telling me to hand over my baby to them.

Despite assurances from the Prophet, I am really scared.

What should I do?
