Do you support Buhari's withdrawal from the presidential debate?

APC presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has withdrawn from the the long awaited presidential debate.

The much awaited presidential debate which would have pitted President Goodluck Jonathan against other aspirants in the 14 February, 2015, election, especially his bitter rival, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, may not hold after all, as the All Progressive Congress, APC, has pulled his candidate out of the programme.

The reason given by the APC for the withdrawal of its candidate is that the debate has been skewed already to favour the incumbent president going by the actions of the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria, BON, the organizers of the debate.

According to the Director, Media and Publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation, Garba Shehu, the party's grouse is hinged on a "damaging documentary carried by some government-approved television stations on Buhari, the avalanche of inflammatory statements, misinformation and blatant lies being propagated by some of these media against our party and candidates.

Aside, elements close to sitting President Goodluck Jonathan, have commissioned series of derogatory and death threat advertorials against the person, family and associates of the opposition leader, General Muhammadu Buhari."
