Are you satisfied with the ministerial list released so far?

Many Nigerians seem not to be satisfied with the names on the ministerial list released by the Senate.

President Muhammadu Buhari

After months of waiting, with the attendant tension and various speculations, the Senate, on Tuesday, October 7, released 21 names on ministerial nominees sent to it by the President.

Against the expectations of Nigerians and the belief that President Muhammadu Buhari would spring a surprise, many felt there was no need for all the anxiety that was created and the desire of Nigerians to break from the past as almost all the names on the list either old politicians and known supporters and financier of the All Progressive Congress in the run up to the elections.

Though many still believe that the President must have seen them worthy of getting the positions, others think it is still business as usual.

Names like Audu Ogbeh who was a minister in 1979, former Governors Rotimi Amaechi, Babatunde Fashola and Kayode Fayemi, as well as some who contested elections under the party and failed, found their names on the list.
