This time around, the First Class traditional ruler was seen celebrating the annual goddess of Love and Sweet Waters in Ile-Ife, Osun State, without his wife, lending credence that all is not well with the 17 months old marriage.

It was learned that this was the first time the Ooni would be seen at a function without the Queen when he led worshippers to pay tributes to the goddess on Wednesday, August 15, 2017, making people to further read meanings into the marital crisis even though he had come out to debunk the rumours.

The festival which is a symbolic celebration of love, has always been celebrated by any Ooni alongside his Oloris but this is the first time such an epoch event will be marked without an Olori beside the Ooni.

Rumours have been rife in the past few days that the high profile marriage between the Ooni and the Edo State-born Olori Wuraola conducted on March 12, 2016, had collapsed due to irreconcilable differences bordering on infidelity, lack of respect and other  acts unbecoming of a Queen of her status.

According to stories making the rounds, the Olori had been running from pillar to post, including begging former President Olusegun Obasanjo, to intervene in the crisis rocking the marriage, to no avail.

However, the Ooni through his media aide had released a statement on Wednesday, August 15, debunking the rumour that there was a turmoil in his marriage, calling those spreading the news as nonentities but with the recent development, it seems the marriage is truly having hiccups.
