The man who promised to walk from Lagos to Abuja has arrived to a hero's welcome
When a Buhari victory was certain, Hasheem Suleiman set out on a journey of over 700km.
He first drew media attention when he was spotted in Minna and was honoured as a guest of the ruler of the Nupe Land, Etsu-Nupe Yahaya Abubakar.
On Monday, Hasheem arrived Abuja to a hero's welcome as he walked all the way to the campaign office of the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, where he was well recieved on Monday evening.
He was given an APC victory flag and he stood before the crowd at the same place Buhari made his victory speech.
Hasheem Suleiman has not said what his next adventure will be, but for now, the long walk is over.
