Businessman remains unfound after 19 days

The man has not been located since he left his family for a trip to Oyo State.

The disappearance of a businessman, Mr. Saka Olaoye, who is from Ede, Osun State, has thrown his family into panic.

Olaoye was said to have been scheduled for a trip to Ogbomosho, Oyo State before he proceeds to Ilorin, Kwara State on the same day.

His family lost connection with him after he had left for home for Ogbomosho. One of Olaoye's relatives believes he was kidnapped.

Prof. Siyan Oyeweso, one of the prominent residents in the Ede community disclosed that the man's disappearance has been a major concern for everyone, especially his family.

He said, “The man, who was kidnapped, is not just a businessman, but a prominent philanthropist in Ede.

“He travelled on Saturday March 19, and he has not been found since then. We are worried, but we believe that he will be found.

“The case has been reported to the police. It was reported in Osogbo, Ogbomoso and Ilorin. We are sure the police will find him.”

The Osun State Police Command is yet to comment concerning the kidnapping story of the businessman.
