New born baby survives train toilet fall

An Indian baby miraculously survived a railway line tracks fall after being born inside the train.

A miracle happened in India when a new born baby survived several hours on the rail tracks after he fell out of a toilet bowl few minutes after being born in a train.

The baby that was delivered inside the toilet of an Indian speed train, slipped through the toilet bowl, fell on the rail tracks but survived, reports Times Live.

According to local paper, Nai Dunia, a 22-year old pregnant woman who was travelling with her family in the north-western state of Rajasthan had labour pains on the train, and had to go to the toilet of the train to have her baby.

After the delivery, she fell conscious and the baby boy slipped down the lavatory bowl. The train which stationary at the time, had moved to another town some 13 kilometres away by the time her relatives found her lying unconscious and summoned help.

The miracle baby who was on the tracks for hours, was spotted by the guard of a nearby warehouse who heard it crying.

He was then rescued and taken to hospital where he was reunited with his mother.
