Man Kills Friend Because He Wanted To Inherit His Bicycle

The farmer was said to have hacked his pal to death and left deep cuts all over his head

A man in Kwara has been arrested and arraigned after he was accused of killing his friend.

30-year-old Haruna Mohammed is said to have hacked his friend to death so that he could inherit his bicycle and his farm.

The incident occurred in Shireke village in the Kaiama Local Government Area of the state.

Mohammed is said to have gained entry into the deceased’s hut while he was asleep and attacked him with a hoe.

The suspect was found in possession of the victim's bicycle, his phone and some of his clothes.

He has been remanded at the Federal Prisons in Ilorin pending the determination of the case.
