There was palpable tension and chaos as the headless body of a young girl was discovered in an uncompleted building at Magaji community in Iwo area of Osun State, with signs of ritual killing all over her body.

Who could be behind the gruesome murder of this young girl?
The residents who confirmed the finding, said that the girl's identity could not be ascertained, but confessed that it appeared she was raped because she was naked with signs of sperm on her thighs, while her pubic hair and the air around her armpit were also shaved by the killers with one of her wrists cut off.
She reportedly had wounds on her body, which could mean that she had struggled with her killers.
Eyewitnesses of the sordid findings said that the owner of the uncompleted house had reported the case to the landlords of the area when he discovered the body.

The landlords immediately alerted the police and a team of officers were dispatched to take away the body.
Investigations into the matter has begun and the police have arrested some leads into the murder.
