The shocking news was disclosed by the spokesman for the Command, DSP Idrissu Kenedy, on Wednesday, November 16, Punch reports.

The suspect identified as Mr Emmanuel Ishaya of Ushata village was arrested after the father of the deceased, Joshua Ebini, filed a report on his son, Isaac Joshua's disappearance on October 10.

Kenedy also revealed that information gotten from the suspect has also led to the arrest of three other suspects, with a fourth accomplice still at large.

Punch reports that the suspects confessed to the crime during the interrogations, each explaining their level of involvement.

The prime suspect, Ishaya, confessed to luring the boy from his father's house on a motorbike to the forest where he killed him using a stick.

According to the reports, Ishaya removed the boy's genitals and right buttock, the parts which were requested by his collaborators.

Kenedy said that the investigation finally revealed that the whole idea was put together by Aderogba Tunde.

Punch reports that Tunde convinced another suspect, Isah Ogah, that his aged father in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, could make money ritual as far as the required body parts were provided.

Kenedy said, “Isah claimed not to be interested in taking human life in order to make money, but contacted Yohanna Ibaku, who brought Emmanuel Ishaya, the prime suspect, into the deal.”

He added that the remains of the deceased have been recovered from where they were dumped and handed over to the family for burial.

The spokesman said that the police are still on the trail of the last suspect and they would all be prosecuted upon the completion of the investigation.
