The State Police Command, in a release, described the gang as one of the most infamous in the state and has been engaging in the crime for many years before they were captured.

In his confession, Ozo said they repeatedly raped their victim even after collecting N2 million ransom from her relations.

Narrating how they were arrested, Lucky said the four of them were driving in their car along Sapele Road when policemen on patrol stopped and arrested them.
