Late Director of Information for Presidency to be laid to rest

After 30 years of service with the presidency and service to eight Nigerian heads of state, Justin Abuah, is set to be laid to rest.

The information was disclosed via a statement issued today, September 14 in Abuja by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Buhari, Femi Adesina.

Quoting a burial program released by the Abuah family, Mr Adesina revealed that the interment will be taking place at the Apo cemetery following a funeral service at 10am at Our Lady Queen of Nigeria Pro-Cathedral in Area 3, Garki, Abuja.

He added that the Service of Songs and Night of Tributes is slated to take place on September 15 at the National Press Centre, Radio House, Area 10, Abuja, at 5 p.m.

Mr Abuah was the Head of Department in the Media and Publicity Department in the State House prior to his death in an Abuja hospital on August 14.

The deceased worked in the Presidency for 30 years, and served eight Nigerian Heads of State, from 1986 -2016.

May his soul rest in peace.
