The verdict was given by Justice Joyce Abdulmaleek of the Federal High Court, Ibadan, who offered no option of fine.

According to the judge, there were overwhelming evidences against the couple, whose activity led one of their victims to contract the HIV disease.

Abdulmaleek said, “Therefore, Idowu and Titilayo are sentenced to seven years imprisonment each for count one, and seven years imprisonment for count two, without any option of fine and with hard labour.

“The sentences are, however, to run concurrently."

Reports have it that the Folorunso couple lied to their victim, Bidemi Adeshina, telling her to take advantage of an educational programme in Libya.

This later proved to be false as Adeshina became a sex slave who didn't get a penny from her service to the couple, Daily Post reports.
