A Nigerian man who released nude photos of a Ugandan singer, has been arrested in that country.
A Nigerian man who was jilted by his Ugandan singer girlfriend and leaked her nude photos online, Franklin Emoubor, has been arrested and is under government custody, reports New Vision.
Emuobor and the singer, Desire Luzinda, had a bitter quarrel following their break up in November, 2014, and as their war spiralled, the Nigerian revealed several lewd photos of the singer, making her the laughing stock of her people and almost led her to commit suicide.
Speaking at the Uganda Media Centre on the arrest, Uganda's State Minister for Ethics and Integrity, Rev. Fr. Simon Lokodo, revealed Emuobor's arrest.
"We are going to subject him to the Ugandan courts of law and charge him since Uganda is where he initially committed the crime."
The New Vision also reports that apart from the nude photos, Emuobor has been on the wanted list of the security outfits in the country owing to fraud and possession of illegal papers while parading himself as a Ugandan and used the name Franklin Baguma to acquire a Ugandan passport NO B1012076.
The matter was taken up by the Police Special Investigation Unit.
The leaked nude photos, as was reported by Pulse on November 12, 2014, almost ruined Luzinda career after Emuobor splashed the photos on the social media, vowing to teach her a lesson for her alleged promiscuity and vowing to destroy her completely with more nude photos and sex tapes.
