Two suspected thieves were given another form of jungle justice when they were stripped naked and forced to walk several streets in broad daylight in Anambra State.

According to witnesses, the two thieves were part of a gang that kept terrorising residents of Odume Layout, Obosi, in the state and the day of reckoning came for them when they were caught dealt with severely by the angry mob, who made them carry the items they stole on their heads while they were paraded them round the city before handing them over to the police.

The suspected thieves were said to specialize in stealing batteries, gear boxes and other partsĀ  from parked vehicles, before they were caught.
