Mob set man ablaze for stealing bicycle in Nasarawa

A man who stole a bicycle in Nasarawa State has been burnt to death.

A man who stole a bicycle in Akwanga town in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, was reportedly set ablaze by an angry mob who nabbed as he was about to drive away on the bicycle.

It was gathered that the man who claimed to be 26-years-old, was caught with the bicycle which belong to a resident and when he could not explain how he came about the bike, the mob descended on him, beating him till he lost consciousness before he was burnt to death.

After he was set ablaze, his corpse was later taken away by the police and deposited at Akwanga General Hospital.
