Jungle Justice 2 suspected robbers almost beaten to death in Imo (Graphic Photos)

Two suspected robbers would have been lynched to death in Imo State but for the intervention of a local government chairman who begged for their lives.

But for the intervention of  the Transition Chairman of Ehime Mbano Local Government Area in Imo State, Hon. Chike Orjiako, two suspected armed robbery suspects would have been killed by an angry mob.

According to one Kingsley Chukwu who witnessed the scene,  the suspects who are notorious criminals in the area, had snatched a motorcycle from a commercial rider  at the Oriagu market.

But other motorcyclists gave them a chase and caught up with them at a certain junction and trust Nigerians, the suspects were rounded up and given the beating of their lives.

The angry mob, according to Chukwu, were about setting the suspects on fire when the Chairman of the council happened to drive by and stopped to rescue them after much pleading with the crowd.
