Married pastor bathes lover with acid for attempting to end their relationship

A married Pastor in Zimbabwe is in trouble for pouring acid on his secret lover for wanting to call off their relationship.

A Zimbabwean man of God, Rev Rosbon Munamba, is in the dock after he bathed his secret lover, Rudo Bakasa, with acid because she told him she was no longer comfortable with committing adultery with him and wanted to call it quits, reports MyZimabwe.

The 38-year-old Bakasa who suffered 50% burns on her body, is said to be fighting for her life at the Parirenyatwa Hospital in Harare, the capital of the country after the jealous man of the robe refused to accept that it was over between them.

The reports have it that Munamba, who is married to another woman, was unhappy that his lover survived the acid attack and allegedly attempted to kill her in the hospital while visiting her.

Bakasa told police that when she attempted to break up with Munamba, he warned her saying: 'no one dumps me.'

Bakasa told the police:

"As we were walking towards my house, he produced a container from his pocket and tried to force me to drink the liquid.

He held the container to my mouth and tried to force it open. He almost strangled me."

But she was not totally lucky as the acid poured on her ear and face, scalding her severely.

He then began pouring the remaining liquid all over her body. People heard the woman’s screams and came to her aid. She was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
