The hopes of finding love through the social media has spelled doom for Adekemi Faboro, a female teacher who gave up the ghost in mysterious circumstance in her lover's house on her first date with him, reports PM News.

The paper reports that Faboro, a primary school teacher based in Lagos, had met the man whose name was given as Christopher Ezekiel, on Facebook and the two started an online relationship that blossomed to the extent of communicating on phone and via Facebook message.

To consolidate on the affair, Faboro invited the man from his Ibadan, Oyo State base, to visit her in Lagos last weekend.

When he came, Ezekiel stayed at the lady's house at a street off Ajayi road in Ogba, not knowing that tragedy lurks around the corner for the lovers.

It is alleged that trouble started in the night when Faboro started coughing and bringing forth blood.

Ezekiel raised the alarm and her neighbours rushed her to the Ifako general Hospital where she died, leaving the man and her neighbours confused.

The neighbour reported the matter to the Pen Cinema Police and Ezekiel was promptly arrested while Faboro's body was deposited at the mortuary while an autopsy is expected to be carried out on her body to determine the cause of her sudden death.
