25-yr-old man arrested for raping 4-yr-old girl to death in Adamawa

A 25-year-old man has been arrested in Adamawa State for allegedly raping his kinsman's 4-yr-old daughter to death.

A 25-year-old man identified simply as Nenekenso, has been arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl to death in Ganye Local Government Area of the state, Daily Trust reports.

It was learnt that Nenekenso who is related to the late girl's father, lured her into a bush and defiled her till she gave up the ghost.

Reacting to the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Othman Abubakar, confirmed the sordid act, saying the suspect has been arrested just as the police has intensified its investigations.

It was also gathered that the girl’s mother had once caught the accused inserting his finger in the girl’s private part but instead of reporting the assault to the father, only warned him to desist from such sexual assault on the toddler.
