The Bauchi state Commissioner, Alhaji Zaki Ahmed, made the disclosure during a briefing with newsmen on the activities of the command, Daily Post reports.

He said that one, Mahmud Tanimu, said to be the mastermind behind the jailbreak has been arrested.

According to Ahmed, Tanimu had concluded plans with his accomplices to break his brother, who was remanded in the prison, out.
