The septuagenarian identified as Nwoke Simeon Ogbuehi was caught in the act on Thursday, May 26, 2016, and upon the court hearing, was freed causing the people of the community to cry out for help from the relevant authorities within the state.

The Umukam Okaiuga Nkwoegwu Autonomous Community in Ohuhu, Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State is calling for justice concerning the bizarre incident and the conduct of the Chief Magistrate, Mirabel C. ken Ahukanna of the Afugiri Magistrate Court in Umuahia North LGA.

The community has been reported to have suffered several incidences of molestations, sexual assaults and rape of adolescent males in the community orchestrated by the suspect who is also from the community.

After Ogbuehi was nabbed by the youths of Okaiuga community JSS 2 pupil, Chukwuebuka Uchendu, the suspect and the victim were immediately handed over to the police at the divisional police station at Afugiri, who took over the investigation, later arraigning Ogbuehi before the Chief Magistrate Court, Afugiri.

The reports reveal that after the case came up before Chief Magistrate, Mirabel C. ken Ahukanna, she queried the victim in open court causing him to narrate his repeated ordeals at the hands of Ogbuehi.
