Stabbed pregnant woman deliver baby after attack

The heavily pregnant women was saved by passerby who got involved in the fight to save her after her husband had reportedly stabbed her multiple times on the street.

According to reports, the assault took place in a busy area near the Sutton Coldfield Baptist Church Centre on Trinity Hill.

Eyewitness account says the pregnant woman was heard screaming for help in a terrified voice at the corner of the street saying 'not the baby' or 'not our baby' and also a male voice shouting 'drop it, drop it' .

The heavily pregnant woman was saved by passersby who got involved in the fight to save her after her husband had reportedly stabbed her multiple times on the street.

The police who arrived early enough were able to air lift the stabbed woman to a hospital while the suspected man was arrested for domestic violence and attempted murder.

Although the 40-year-old mother remains in a critical condition her unborn child has been delivered safely in hospital.
