In Ondo Former Commissioner reportedly slumps and dies in cyber cafe

The deceased, Alhaji Abbas Aidi, had reportedly slumped and died at a cyber cafe in Akure, yesterday, April 3, 2016 after receiving an important letter he had been expecting for a while.

News reports have revealed that a former Commissioner for Lands and Housing in Ondo State, has reportedly slumped and died at a cyber cafe in Akure.

The deceased, Alhaji Abbas Aidi, had reportedly slumped and died at a cyber cafe in Akure, yesterday, April 3, 2016 after receiving an important letter he had been expecting for a while.

The family source who was reached for the detail had declined sharing the details of the letter with correspondents who has interviewed them.

However, the family source had revealed that the politician had been hale and hearty until the morning of yesterday when he had reportedly driven himself to the cyber cafe, where he had slumped and died.

Late Aidi hailed from Ikare area in Akoko South West area and had reportedly worked as a banker for years in Kaduna and Kano states before his foray into politics.

Late Alhaji Aidi had been the commissioner for Lands under the late Chief Adebayo Adefarati administration in the Ondo state.

Vanguard reports that Alhaji Aidi had developed some complications while the cafe administrator had been busy printing the letters ha had been expecting.

The former Commissioner had reportedly slumped after collecting the letters from the cafe administrator, upon which he had been rushed to a nearby hospital where he had been confirmed dead.

Late Alhaji Aidi has now been buried according to Islamic rites at his hometown, Ikare-Akoko in Akoko South West Local Government Area.
