The accused, who resides at No. 14 Adejumo St., Iyana-Ilogbo, Ota, is being tried on a two count-charge of defilement and conspiracy.

The prosecutor, Cpl. Abdulkareem Mustapha, told the court that the accused and others still at large committed the offence at his residence.

Mustapha said the accused conspired with the others at large and had unlawful carnal knowledge of the girl.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs A.O. Abimbola, ordered that the accused should be remanded in prison custody pending the advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Abimbola, however, adjourned the case till Sept. 18 for mention.
