26 suspects paraded for armed robbery and burglary
The suspects were paraded at the Bornu State Police Command headquarters for robbery and disturbances.
Speaking to newsmen, state police commissioner, Demian Chukwu disclosed that stolen household equipment, valuables and livestock estimated at N11.2 million were recovered in the last three months.
Eight livestock rustlers who stole 61 sheep and two goats valued at N5.7million were also among the arrested suspects.

Another set of ten criminals accused of belonging to a violent group responsible for causing disturbances in Gwange Ward of Maiduguri were also paraded.
Chukwu warned youths and the general public to abandon any agenda related to the forming of any illegal group within the state.
Bornu is considered a hot zone due to the activities of Islamic sect, Boko Haram, who have been accused of killing thousands of people in the region.
