17yrs old girl raped by 27 men for 24 hours after promising her a job
The girl was in need of employment because her father, an alcoholic, had run the family into debt.
The 17-year old is believed to have been taken by her neighbours to Jaipur, a well-known tourist destination in northern India.
According to Hindustan Times. She was defiled by a gang up to 27 men, which included hotel staff, for more than 24 hours.
The victim was also reportedly denied food and made to stay in the small room during the attack on August 30.
She complained to police when she returned to Delhi and six men have been arrested.
The rest of the suspects are on the run or have not been identified, officers confirmed.
Reports from a police officer investigating the case, had confirmed the involvement of 10 people.
“She was confined to a hotel where 10 people including the manager took turns to molest her’
“She managed to escape last week and file a complaint in Delhi. Based on her complaint, we have arrested six men and we are studying the CCTV footage from the hotel to nab the rest of the suspects.”
