News reports have revealed that the driver to Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose's late aide, was reportedly assassinated today, January 6.

The sad incident had occurred this morning, while he had been travelling along the Aramoko and Igede road in Ekiti state.

This comes months after Aderiye Omolafe, aide to Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, and former Chairman of the Ekiti state chapter of National Union of Road Transport Workers,had been assassinated by unknown gunmen.
The gunmen who had committed the crime had reportedly been wearing masks when they shot him dead.
