Man hands son over to the police on robbery suspicion

Reports revealed that the father of the suspect informed DPO Chris Sorgbara at the Ekpan police division in Uvwie, Delta State, after his son returned home with bullet wounds in the early hours of March 14, 2016.
Tribune reports that investigations revealed that David is a member of the20-man armed robbery who had engaged in several robbery operations including mounting roadblock on the NPA expressway directly under the refinery fly-over, where they had dispossessed unsuspecting road users of many valuables on March 13, 2016.
It was also reported that the suspect admitted that his gang were behind a robbery operation in Edo Guest House at Ekpan the day his father gave him up to the police, and that their leader, Oga Kenneth, was killed during the operation.
