In Austria Gunman kills two, injures eleven in unprovoked shooting

A local man opened fire at a concert in Austria early today, May 22, killing two people before killing himself with the same weapon.

According to reports, the man, believed to be 27, opened fire  in the western town of Nenzing, Austria, shortly after he and a woman had an argument in a car park close to the venue of the concert.

The man had returned to his car to get the gun, said to be a rifle, and started shooting into the crowd of about 150 people.

That attack has now left two dead, and another 11 severely injured as the man randomly shot everything and anything in sight at about 1 am (GMT) this morning.

The shooting took place on a property used by a motorcycle club, and according to Police, he shot himself after returning to the car park.

Local media reports that some of the surviving victims were taken to hospital in serious conditions.

Investigation into the matter is ongoing.
