A 32-year-old hotel cleaner, Veronica Lawrence, who allegedly stole a lodger’s 550 euros (N230, 000), was on Tuesday charged before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.

The offence contravened Section 287 (7) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

He said the sureties, who must be gainfully employed, should also show evidence of three years tax payment to the Lagos State Government.

The magistrate adjourned the case until April 3 for mention.
