A housewife in Enugu State, Grace Agbo, has been arrested by the police for allegedly murdering her husband, Elijah Agbo, over a minor family squabble.

A housewife has murdered her husband during a minor family squabble in Enugu State.
According to Punch Newspaper, the incident happened at Isiuzo local government area of the state and the people of the community cannot fathom out what could have led to the dastardly act.
According to neighbours, the deceased was said to be relaxing in the living room of his house with his wife, Deborah, in the evening of March 5, 2015.
At about 9pm, Grace reportedly told the daughter to go to bed, but shortly after that, the girl heard a loud cry from her father accompanied with a thud, which reportedly made her to rush to the living room, where she saw her father in a pool of blood.

It was learnt that Grace had used a heavy stick to smash her husband’s head and he died on the spot.
The Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ebere Amaraizu, said the housewife had been arrested while the police are investigating to ascertain why Grace murdered her husband.
