A man has been arrested by the Kogi State Police Command in connection with the hijack of a trailer load of cement belonging to Obajana Cement Company.
This information was made known to journalists by the State Commissioner, Samuel Ogunjemulusi, as scores of suspects were paraded for various offences at the State Headquarters in Lokoja on Friday.
Two other suspects were still at large according to the Commissioner.
He assured that the police will not relent in ensuring that they were apprehended.
He explained that the state Police Command was very much alert and combat ready to deal with criminals.
The Commissioner said that as part of the command’s readiness in fighting criminals, 350 Police officers and men have been deployed from Abuja, while 15 patrol vehicles were already on ground.
