An 18-year-old man identified as Ayuba Yakubu, has reportedly committed suicide because the older brother he lived with in Kubwa, Aubja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), rebuked him, reports Daily Trust.

An 18-year-old man has committed suicide by drinking poison because brother rebuked him.
A bottle of deadly sniper
The young man who could no longer cope with the constant put down by his brother, allegedly drank a bottle of poisonous substance suspected to be an insecticide called Sniper, and ended it all.
It was gathered that the elder brother who was preparing for his wedding ceremony, found something the brother did did not go down well with him and voiced his anger but the younger man got angry at his brother and went out to buy the poison which he drank.
A family source told the police:

“The deceased, who could no longer tolerate the rebuke, bought the poisonous substance and drank the contents.”
He was discovered already unconscious and immediately rushed to the Kubwa General Hospital where he gave up the ghost.
The Head, Accident and Emergency unit of the hospital, Paul Olise, confirmed the death, saying the corpse had been taken away by the relations for burial.
