10. Season One, Episode 10 - Fire and Blood

8. Season four , Episode seven - Mockingbird

Or should we just tag it the moon door? This episode was written by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss and directed by Alik Sakharov explained effectively how LittleFinger pushes any obstacle blocking his vision of becoming the King of the seven Kingdoms.

The hound on the order hand told Arya Stark how cruel his brother was, his brother burned his face and his father let it happen.

7. Season five, Episode nine - The dance of dragons

This episode had us caught us unawares, Can a father really do that to his daughter? The episode was written by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss and directed by David Nutter is one of the most powerful episodes in the series.

Stannis took the gutting decision to sacrifice his daughter to the God of Light to increase his chances of wining the Iron throne.

The world had waited so long to see Daenerys Targaryen ride on her dragon, it was one beautiful ride through the quagmire of the Slavers bay.

6. Season three, Episode nine - The Rains of Castamere

This is the most tragic episode ever in the entire series. The Red wedding is one occurrence the North would never forget.

The tragic episode was written by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss and directed by David Nutter. Walder Frey has been on every fans hit list since the red wedding till Arya Stark finally hit him in Season six finale.

The 'almost hostile takeover' of Westeros!

Scenes from the wildfire explosions at the Battle of the Blackwater can't seem to leave our minds. This episode was written by George R.R. Martin and directed by Neil Marshall.

Firstly we would like to say RIP to Wun Wun, the war hero and the last of his kind.

This is one of the most engaging episodes in the entire series, we had goosebumps and our mouths were wide open. The episode was written by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss and directed by Miguel Sapochnik.

The hungry hounds made us happy, so did Sansa Stark, she showed us her smart side. We probably might have thought so little of the once naive girl. Ramsey Bolton's war strategy was amazing!

The North will forever remember this day!

This episode was directed by Miguel Sapochnik and written David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. Cersei was locked away by the high Septa, Reek confessed to Sansa that he did not kill Bran and Rickon and Tyrion Lannister meets Daenerys Targaryan.

Maester Aemon revealed that he’s the oldest living Targaryen, Ned Stark died, this episode will be referenced to forever. Catelyn Stark made an agreement with Lord Frey that Robb would marry one of his daughters.

R + L = J If this you know this theory, you would probably agree that this is the best episode ever in the history of Game of Thrones.

Jon Snow's birth history was revealed, Tyrion was named Hand of the Queen by Daenerys Targaryen, Daenerys sails for Westeros. Cersei strategically used the wild fire to kill the high Sparrow, Margaery Tyrell, Jon snow was declared the King in the North.
