A popular female drummer who got married in December of 2016 has cried out after her husband brutalized her.

A popular female drummer who got married a few months ago has cried out after her husband descended on her,

The victim, Adebukola Shittu, who posted the incident and photos of her battered face on social media, wondered what could make a man she got married to beat her that bad, leaving her with severe bruises.

Though the cause of the fracas between the couple was not made known, one of her friends, March Grey, took to her Facebook page to post photos of the brutalized woman and the husband on her wedding day with this poser:

"Look at what he did to her just after few months of marriage. Some of us here will know this lady, Adebukola Shittu, the popular Nigeria female drummer.

She's a friend of mine. Pls, this kind of man must not go unpunished."

Cases of domestic violence where men batter their wives have been on the rise with star actress, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry being the latest to suffer such abuse after she narrated how her husband, Lanre Gentry battered her and fractured her skull.
