A jealous 27-year-old Harare, Zimbabwe woman, Fortune Vutete, has been arrested and charged with physical abuse and culpable homicide after she mistakenly killed her six-month-old baby by pouring a pot of boiling water on him in an attempt to scald her husband whom she suspected of cheating.

A woman in Zimbabwe is in serious trouble for killing her son because her husband cheated on her.

The Herald reports that after Vutete found a video of a naked woman on her husband, Owen Miroga's laptop, she flew off the top and schemed on a way to take vengeance on him, not know she would end up killing her own baby.
On the day of the incidence, the 32-year-old Mironga was said to be sleeping on the same bed with the infant when Vutete sneaked into the dark room and emptied the boiling water on the baby instead of her husband.
The husband also suffered burns on his hand and the two were rushed to Parirenyatwa Hospital for treatment where they were both admitted.

The baby later died from the first degree burns he suffered.
